The gameplay draws inspiration from the familiar rules of 9-wicket Croquet. Players advance by passing their ball through designated wickets, each successful pass allowing an additional stroke. Notable is the special croquet stroke, activated upon striking another player's ball. The objective remains straightforward: the first player to navigate through all wickets and reach the final peg is declared the winner.

Croquet has long captured the literary imagination of figures like Lewis Carroll and Edward Gorey, and this application honors that whimsical heritage. Unique courts reflect this ethos, featuring designs that range from traditional formats, such as the Monk’s Meadow, to more abstract layouts like Creepy Castle and Erstwhile Emptiness, which contribute to a richer gameplay experience. Players earn stars through gameplay to unlock new courts.
